Welcome back to another edition of the Admin Corner!

With Summer on its way, it is hard to believe how quickly this year has flown by!

Here are a few important yet gentle reminders for Term 4:

Zooper Doopers

We’re excited to announce the return of our much-loved Zooper Dooper icy pole sales at GWPS!

Starting Week 2, students can again enjoy a refreshing treat on the following days:

• Wednesdays - Prep to Year 2

• Fridays - Years 3 to Year 6

   

Zooper Doopers cost 50 cents each with a maximum of 2 icy poles per child.

This fun initiative not only delights all of our students but also helps raise funds to enhance our school facilities. We thank you for your continued support. It is greatly appreciated!

Sun Smart Hats

With the warmer weather upon us, all students are now required to wear a Sun Smart hat (that cover the ears and neck) during recess, lunch, outdoor sport, and all PE sessions.

If a student forgets their hat, they will be asked to stay in the shaded area of the stage during outdoor play times.

If your child does not own a GWPS broad brim or bowler Sun Smart hat they are available for purchase from our uniform shop on Mondays from 8.30am – 10.30am and Wednesdays from 2.00pm – 4.00pm.

We ask that you please ensure hats (and belongings) are clearly labelled with your child’s full name and class. This makes it easier for lost items to be returned quickly while keeping our Lost Property box manageable.

We thank you for helping your child wear their Sun Smart hat each day and for supporting our school’s commitment to sun safety.
