Library News

The Library has been buzzing with activity throughout May!

A range of new books have been prepared and are now available in the Kildare Library. Our May 4th competition, promoting the genre of science fiction, wraps up at the end of the month. In addition to this, the Library has featured a number of vibrant displays, including themes for Reconciliation Week, Design and Technology Week, Do It For Dolly Day and May the 4th (Star Wars Day).

We are excited to announce a new Library News page on the Library website to keep you up to date with the latest news and information. You’ll also find new resources on study and revision tips, as well as guidance on the use of AI for students and teachers.

Our Librarians have been presenting lessons on research skills to Year 7 and 8 students during their Reading Room classes. The Premier’s Reading Challenge is gaining momentum, with many students taking up the challenge to read more books and build their reading skills.

For more information, contact the Librarians or your English or Reading Room teachers.

Till next time, happy reading!
