Year 10 Work Experience

Thank you to all students, with the support of their families, who have submitted paperwork for Work Experience, which will be undertaken from 16 - 20 June 2025.  

The Careers team will email the signed-off forms to students prior to placement, so that they can make contact the week before and finalise starting times and appropriate dress.

Those who have not submitted their paperwork to date are requested to do so as soon as possible. The Careers Team is available to answer any questions or queries through Careers@sje.vic.edu.au

Celebrating Our Community Champions: A Heartfelt Thank You to Local Business Partners

Students and staff from our school have been visiting some of the incredible local businesses to present certificates of appreciation for their invaluable support in shaping the futures of our students. 

These businesses have gone above and beyond by opening their doors to host work experience and work placements, providing our students with real-world insights and practical skills that can’t be taught in the classroom.

Students have loved the opportunity to proudly present certificates to these businesses and sharing their gratitude firsthand -  not only as a way of saying thank you, but also a celebration of the vital partnerships that help bridge education and employment.

If you're a local business owner - or know someone who is - and you'd like to explore how you can play a role in supporting young people through work experience, we warmly invite you to connect with our Work Related Skills Team. Your involvement could make all the difference in a student's journey toward a confident, capable future.
