Captains Corner

As you may all know, Term 2 is in full swing with lots of opportunities that so many students have been involved with and have learned new things. I am Shiv, your 2025 School Captain and welcome to my second ever personal newsletter. 

The first thing I would like to go over is Cross Country and I would love to say congratulations to everyone who went to District Cross Country and good luck to those who even got in the top 20 to qualify into Division which was yesterday.  Another sports related topic is Hoop Time tryouts and results. Thank you to everyone who tried out and congratulations to those who have made the team.

I would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in Pyjama Day. As you may know, we raised a total amount of $819.90. All of the money we raised is going to be donated to the Heart Kinds Foundation. It was very beautiful to see all the students wearing their comfiest clothes and not having to take a shower on the day!

Another thing that has occurred in the last couple weeks is Leadership Day, on the 21st of May all our captains went to Mount View Primary School and they were able to connect for the first time this year. We got to know other people and made lots of friends throughout the experience.
