What’s happening at Ranges TEC?
The term has started off strong with students completing work placements before being back on site with classes.
We would like to warmly welcome our new students and families from the mid-year intake to the Ranges TEC community. It’s exciting to have some fresh faces around, and we wish you all the best as you settle into a new school and learning environment.
We’re also excited to announce the addition of the Certificate II in Early Childhood Education and Care Pathway to our course offerings. *Subject to scope approval, this course will commence in 2026.
Upcoming events and activities in our school
August 13th: VET Taster Evening
The second and final VET taster evening for 2025 is happening soon! This is an opportunity for current Year 9 or 10 students to experience what each trade is like and decide whether they would like to enrol in a course next year.
If you are considering VET at Ranges TEC in 2026, enquire now at https://www.rangestec.vic.edu.au/vet-taster-evening/.
Year 12 Camp
Each year, our Year 12 cohort heads off to Darwin for the 'Boots to the Bush' school camp. It’s a time that our students do specific community project based work at the school and an Outdoor Education Centre in a regional town. Some past projects they’ve done include a low ropes course, play equipment for the early learning centre, building a toilet block and repairing a shed full of bikes.
Please keep this group of students and teachers in your thoughts and prayers over the coming month as they prepare and head out.
