Top Arts Excursion

On Tuesday, 18 March, the Year 11 and 12 Art-Making and Exhibiting students enjoyed a fabulous day out in the city viewing the Top Arts Exhibition, attending a lecture about the show and viewing the folios. In the afternoon, two Education Officers spent an hour walking the students through the First Nations Gallery and discussing different aspects of Indigenous Art and Culture.

The highlight of the day was when Lauren Baker came in to the Gallery and talked about

 her selected work and Folio development and experience in 2024 - giving valuable insight and tips about how to manage the year. The Year 12s especially benefitted from her wise words.

The Year 12s then took time to check out a Commercial Gallery and Alternative Art Space.
