Principal's Report

Dear St A’s Community,
Thank you to all those families who are managing to get to school on time on these cold and rainy mornings! I understand that the colder morning can be harder to get every one organised!
Grandparents and Special Friends
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the Grandparents and Special Friends who made our Grandparents Day last Friday such a memorable occasion. It was wonderful to see the school filled with so much love and joy as our students proudly shared their school life with their loved ones. Grandparents and special friends play an invaluable role in the lives of our students, and we are grateful for the opportunity to honour and celebrate their presence at our school. We look forward to continuing to build and strengthen these important connections in our community.
Music Trivia Night
A big thankyou to all the staff and parents who came together for our yearly social event! It was great to see so many costumes, glamour and dance moves! It surely was a fun night for all and big thank you goes out the Jacinta Martin and her team of helpers for putting this event together!
2025 Prep Enrolments:
2025 prep enrolments are still open. If you have a sibling commencing next year please submit an enrolment form ASAP. We still have siblings without their forms in!
New St A's students and families:
This week we welcomed Amelie and Vincent La Greca into our wonderful school. Amelie begins her St A's journey in 3/4B and Vincent has joined Miss V in Grade 2V!
We also welcome twins Sam and Sophie Barnes into our 3/4 cohort! They both have settled into the open learning space in the 3/4 area. We are very happy to have the twins join our school and look forward to the contributions they will make in the future!
Together We Walk
Today our staff and students walked in solidarity to support.
Running Club
Mr Todd will be recommencing the morning Running Club in Term 4. However, a number of children have been hoping to take part this term. If you have a current Working With Children Check and would be interested in leading the Running Club, please contact the office to speak with Mrs Ramsamy. It would be great if we had some volunteers that could provide this opportunity at 8:15am - 8:45am each week. (any day)
Olympics
Hope you are all enjoying the Olympics! We have some of our students following along on the screen in the library! We completed our Opening ceremony last week and we now have the students particiapting in Olympics activities in their classrooms!
Show Grace, Be the joy for others and God Bless.
