Year 1 Highlight

CFA Incursion 

This term in DBL, our Year 1 students have been learning all about community helpers and the important roles they play in keeping us safe. As part of this unit, we were thrilled to welcome members of the Mernda CFA for an exciting incursion. The students had the opportunity to learn about fire safety, explore the equipment used by firefighters, and even see a real fire truck up close! It was a hands-on and engaging experience that deepened their understanding of how firefighters help protect our community.
