Year 2 Highlight

This term, our Year 2 students have been immersed in the tale of ‘The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’. This included Edward’s geographical journey over time. The students mapped their timeline of places they have visited with their families and examined the world map, as well as their own family's heritage.  

We went on our miraculous journey to the Mernda Wetlands to uncover Edward’s secret message for them. They had to find all the clues around the wetlands to piece together the code and get their special reward. 

They also worked on designing and creating a plasticine model of a rabbit. They practised moulding and sculpting skills to create all the important parts of the rabbit, such as the ears, paws, and tail.
