Term 1 has been jam packed with competitions and we have lots to celebrate! This term has been an incredible for our interschool sports teams, with students demonstrating passion, integrity, and unwavering school pride. We are thrilled to highlight some outstanding achievements that showcase the talent and dedication of our athletes.

Our Year 10 Boys and Girls Volleyball teams set the bar high this year, making it all the way to the grand finals! Their commitment to teamwork and sportsmanship has been truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder of their efforts on and off the court.

Also, a special mention goes to Bemin’s first-ever  Senior Boys Futsal team, who are advancing to the Western Metropolitan Regional Competition, representing Wyndham. Their hard work and perseverance have set a strong foundation for the future of Futsal at Bemin Secondary College.

New procedures for Interschool Sports.

To ensure that students who are giving their best effort in the classroom have the privilege to represent Bemin in interschool sports, we are introducing a new ‘Out of Routine’ form for Year 10 and 11 students. This form will help us recognise and support students who are balancing their academic responsibilities while proudly representing our school in sporting events.

We encourage all students to continue striving for excellence both in their studies and on the field. Thank you to our dedicated coaches, teachers, and supporters who continue to make interschool sports a fantastic opportunity for all!

Go Bemin!

Junior School Interschool sports

It has been a busy and exciting term for Interschool Sport at the Junior Campus, with students participating in a range of sporting opportunities including badminton, cross country, and soccer. These events have allowed our students to develop their skills, demonstrate school values, and proudly represent Bemin College in a variety of competitive settings.

Our Year 7 boys and girls proudly represented Bemin College at the recent Interschool badminton competition. Participation was outstanding, and the College’s core value of Respect was clearly demonstrated both on and off the court. Under the guidance of head coach Lzahra, our students displayed impressive teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the day. Congratulations to all students involved on their effo

In addition, our Year 7 and Year 8 students had the exciting opportunity to participate in a series of soccer training sessions delivered by coaches from Western United Football Club. These sessions allowed students to develop new skills, gain valuable insights, and enhance their understanding of the game in a professional training environment.

The program was led by Kat Smith, head coach of the Western United A-League Women’s team and co-coach of the Australian national team, the Matildas. Her expertise and leadership offered our students a unique glimpse into the standards and practices of elite-level soccer. We thank Western United and Kat Smith for providing such an enriching experience for our students.
