Singapore Leaders Delegation

Over the holiday break, Mr Kruger was contacted by a group of seven School Leaders from Singapore who are participating in the Leaders in Education Programme (LEP), a seven-month milestone program conducted by the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore. As part of a two week international study tour of Australia, they expressed interest in visiting Lilydale Heights College after hearing about our work in Sustainability Leadership and Innovation, as the 2025 ResourceSmart School of the Year, as well as our whole-school implementation of The Resilience Project to support student and staff wellbeing. On Friday 22nd May, we had the privilege of welcoming the delegation to our College. It was incredibly affirming to host international education leaders who have specifically identified LHC as a school of interest in these areas and who were keen to see the work in action. Their visit provided a valuable opportunity to share and reflect on the systems and practices that underpin our work across the school. We concluded their visit with a delicious Australian inspired morning tea provided by our Valleydale Café. We feel incredibly honoured that Lilydale Heights College was recognised internationally as a leader in these areas and that the group was interested in visiting our school to see firsthand the outstanding work taking place across our community.
