Third day at Yarra Ranges Tech

On 30th April four deadly students: Gem KD., Ruby C., Jackson W. and Millah R. attended the third Koorie Aspirations Program, and what a day it was!   We heard from Uncle Chris, a proud Yorta Yorta and Boonwurrung man. He owns Warrior Boxing in Healesville, where sessions are free for Mob and a gold coin donation for everyone else. Classes run at 6pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.   Uncle Chris was awarded NAIDOC Sportsperson of the Year in 2024 and shared his journey, inspiring students through his commitment to community, culture and wellbeing.
