OLD BOYS 

Semester 2 of 2026 is looking busy with multiple class reunions already organised for the coming months (see list below). On 1 and 2 August, the classes of 1996 and 2006 return to the College for a tour as part of their respective reunions, followed by the classes of 1986 and 1976 who are gathering for their respective reunions on the weekend of 15 and 16 August.

Mr John Eales OAM, 1966 College Captain, is looking to organise his class’s 60-year reunion in September or October. If you were in the senior class of 1966 or in contact with any Old Boys from that group can you please ask them to contact the College.

If you were a member of the Class of 2016 or know anyone who was in that class can you please ask them to contact Connor Wright about their 10-year reunion.

I was recently contacted by the daughter of Henry Jones in her research for a book she is writing on her family’s history. Henry (student number 039) was one of the students who attended the first day of classes at St Augustine’s and is more than likely present in the image above. 

Unfortunately, the College archives do not have a full list of the names to accompany this image. If, by chance, there is a copy of this image with a full list of names or any other items (college blazers, sporting uniforms, trophies, etc.) from the past that families would like to donate to our archives could they please contact me at tjones@cns.catholic.edu.au
