It was wonderful to welcome so many families to our Three-Way Conferences this week! A huge congratulations to all of our students for the thoughtful way they reflected on their learning and confidently shared their achievements, highlights, and future learning goals. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the progress made throughout the semester and acknowledge the hard work and growth of every student.

English

In English, students have been introduced to this term's class novel, How to Bee by Bren MacDibble. Set in a future shaped by climate change, this powerful story explores themes of family, loyalty, kindness, bravery, and hope. Throughout the term, students will delve into the novel by analysing character development, exploring the author's use of narrative structure, and discussing the important themes that make this text both engaging and thought-provoking.

Mathematics

In Mathematics, students have been revising the concepts of area and perimeter by investigating how different shapes can have the same, greater, or smaller area and perimeter measurements.

5/6 Camp

Camp is just around the corner, and the excitement is certainly building! We are looking forward to three fantastic days filled with new experiences, challenges, and opportunities for students to strengthen friendships and create lasting memories. As we prepare for camp, please ensure you have carefully read all communication sent home, particularly the information regarding the luggage policy, to help make arrival and departure as smooth as possible.

We can't wait for a wonderful camp experience together!
