OSHClub News

Week 2
What a fantastic second week of Term 3! Our service was full of creativity, teamwork and plenty of delicious food as children explored new activities, challenged themselves and enjoyed spending time with friends.
Our Breakfast Club helped everyone start the day right with homemade ANZAC biscuits, pancake muffins, apple cinnamon muffins, chocolate twists and crispy hashbrowns. In Snack Squad, children enjoyed preparing and sharing sushi bowls, pasta shells, popcorn, nachos and warm noodles, building their confidence and independence in the kitchen.
Our creative space was buzzing all week as children built impressive LEGO cities, designed colourful zoo masks, created delicate paper snowflakes, explored wool crafting and let their imaginations run wild with a variety of cardboard creations.
During Brain Boosters, children got hands-on making stretchy slime, baked a delicious chocolate sprinkles cake and learnt how to make homemade muesli bars from scratch. These experiences encouraged problem-solving, teamwork and plenty of excitement.
We also kept active throughout the week with soccer, basketball, a fun feather race, the challenging mindfield obstacle course and lots of group games that promoted cooperation, resilience and sportsmanship.
Thank you for another wonderful week at OSHClub. We can't wait to see everyone back for more exciting adventures in Week 3!
Holiday Program
Our Winter Holiday Program was packed with excitement, creativity, and plenty of opportunities for children to make lasting memories with friends. Across the two weeks, children enjoyed a fantastic mix of excursions, special events, cooking experiences, cultural celebrations, and active games.
We kicked off the holidays by building incredible LEGO creations inspired by the World Cup before heading out to the cinema to enjoy Toy Story 5, complete with popcorn and water for everyone. Children also explored sports from around the world during our World Games day, learnt new skills, and celebrated different cultures through play.
Creativity was on full display as children built their own mini foosball games to take home, decorated delicious Cup Winning Cookies, and created colourful Papel Picado artwork while making dessert tacos during our Taco Time celebration.
A special highlight was our NAIDOC Celebrations day, where children explored Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through traditional games, stories, and meaningful activities that encouraged learning and respect.
The energy continued with our Gold Medal Grooves Dance Party, where children expressed themselves through music and movement, before one of our biggest highlights; the MiniRoos Soccer Clinic at the Matilda's training grounds. Children loved developing their soccer skills, building teamwork, and experiencing a professional sporting environment.
We wrapped up an unforgettable holiday program with our Final Buzzer celebration, enjoying a range of fun mini games, outdoor challenges, and plenty of laughter together.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces throughout the holidays, with children embracing new experiences, forming friendships, and confidently trying new activities each day. We thank all of our families for joining us and look forward to another exciting holiday program in the future!

Accessing After hours
For the safety of all families, we ask that parents and carers enter and exit through the side pedestrian gate next to Reception when collecting children after hours, rather than through the reception area. This designated access point provides a safer route to the OSHC service and helps minimise the need for families to walk through areas that may not be supervised or accessible after school hours. Thank you for supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
