The most rocking night of the year is back with the Parents Battle of the Bands on 30 May. Come down to St Kilda’s iconic live music venue, the Prince Bandroom and support Port Melbourne Primary’s very own reigning champion band. They’ve changed their name this year to The Portals and have some fresh band members, so they’re set to rock! 🤘
Ticket sale proceeds go towards our school, so buy your tickets now. Or if you can’t make it, still buy a ticket and think of it as a donation to the school! The real winners are the schools that sell the most tickets! It is a fun night of great music and quality entertainment - legendary if you ask previous crowds!

- Karen on vocals & flute (Amira in year 5, Rafi in year 3) *NEW
- Midge on drums (Eve in year 6)
- Rob on trombone (Ella in year 6)
- Steve on trumpet
- Steve on vocals (Ellie in year 6 & Felicity in year 3).
We’re competing against the local primary schools (Albert Park, Galilee, Middle Park and St Kilda Park). The energy in the crowd is next level, with cheers raising the roof. Let’s show them why we’re Proud to be at Port!
