Hello everyone,

Term 2 has started with a bang with the Mothers Day Lunch tickets going on sale last week! Thank you to everyone who bought tickets to support the school, we hope you really enjoy the event. 

We’ve already had a second hand uniform shop as well, which went very well thanks to the amazing volunteers that show up each time we are open.

Mother's Day/Special Persons Stall 

When: 8 May

Cost: $10 per gift

A selection of gifts are provided by the PFA for children to purchase and give to their loved ones on Mother’s Day. Gifts are $10 each and children can purchase as many as they like (for grandmas, two mums, stepmums, aunties). Children will shop the stall in class groups at staggered times through the day. We will then re-open on Thursday morning 8.30-9.15am for anyone who has missed out or wants to swap double ups. Please BYO your own bag! If you can volunteer to set up on the Tuesday or be at the stall please join this WhatsApp group. 

Mother’s Day Breakfast

When: 8 May from 8am-9am.

Where: Near soccer pitch or gym (if raining)

To celebrate Mother’s Day, this year the PFA with support from school Dads will be hosting a before school breakfast. This will be from 8am on Wednesday 8th May, near the soccer pitch or in the gym if raining. Mums are encouraged to come along to school, share a hot drink and an egg and bacon roll. 

• The Egg and Bacon rolls will be sold for a gold coin donation.
• Miss Molly's coffee cart will be selling coffee and hot drinks to anyone from 7.45am- 9.15am. 

As with any morning, parents are welcome to walk their children to classrooms between 8:45am and 9am.

Whole School Mother’s Day Raffle

Treat your special person to a wonderful weekend away or a glass or 2 of delicious champagne, all while raising money for our wonderful school. 

Major Prize - Donated by the PMPS Lambis family

‘The Kirwood Coastal’ weekend away valued at $2,000!

Package includes 2 night’s accommodation with a late 3pm check out plus a welcome hamper.

Second Prize - Donated by Justin Holod from Marshall White; The Mother's Day Lunch major sponsor.

3 bottles of Champagne!!

Raffle will be drawn on Monday 13th May.

Mother’s Day Lunch after party

When: Friday 10th May (main event 12-8pm) (after party 3-8pm) 

Where: The Pier Hotel, Port Melbourne

Tickets: Buy after party tickets now $25 (3-8pm) and pre-order cocktails.

If you can't make the main event, don't miss out, come to the Lunch After Party! We hope you can come after work and still enjoy this fabulous event. 

This is a ticketed event so you will need a wristband to enter (details available soon).

Extra tickets for lunch

**Due to The Pier being a larger venue we ALSO have a few 12-8pm lunch tickets left. 

We’ve decided to open these up to Past Port Mums. 🙌🏻 If you know a Past Port Mum that would be interested in a 12-8pm ticket, please purchase an after party ticket, then email us at kate_esam@outlook.com to pay the remaining amount.

Main event - Cocktail Style: $125, 3hr Canapés & Drink package (12-3pm)

After party: entertainment – band and DJ (3-8pm)

All proceeds from this event will go to Port Melbourne Primary School.

Winter Solstice Disco

When: 21 June, 5pm

Tickets: $15 per child

This year the school disco is shaking things up and including a lantern walk and night market for winter solstice.
