GIRLS JUNIOR AND INTERMEDIATE NETBALL

On Tuesday 28 May, we sent our netball teams to Leongatha to compete in a highly competitive tournament against schools from across the region.

Our first intermediate game saw the team start a little slowly and, despite creating plenty of opportunities, we were unable to make the most of them when it counted. This proved costly against a strong Foster side, with the girls going down 10–19. Foster went on to finish as the overall winners for the day, highlighting the quality of the opposition.

The team responded brilliantly after the opening match, showing great determination, teamwork and composure in their next two games. They played some excellent netball and were very clinical in attack and defence, recording convincing wins over both Bass Coast College teams, 21–8 and 19–10.

Congratulations to Gypsy Quaife, Ainsley Logan, Dakota Dean, Ruby Ogilvy, Cody Witton, Zahli Dixon, Ella Hopwood, Keesha Gooch and Khali Trewi on representing the College so well throughout the day.
