DISTRICT INTERSCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY
More than 40 students from Korumburra Secondary College travelled to Leongatha on Tuesday 26th May to proudly represent the College at the District Interschool Cross Country Championships. It was fantastic to see such a large and enthusiastic team competing across the day, with students taking on the challenging 3km and 5km courses.
All competitors demonstrated outstanding endurance, determination and resilience as they tackled the demanding course conditions. Students supported and encouraged one another throughout the event, showing excellent sportsmanship and representing the College with pride both on and off the track.
A special congratulations goes to Henry Stuckey (Year 7), who achieved an outstanding result by placing 1st in the 12–13 Boys 3km event. This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of Henry’s hard work and dedication.
The overall results from the day were very pleasing, with around 12 KSC students expected to qualify for the Regional Championships in Drouin next week. We wish all qualifying students the very best as they prepare to compete at the next level.
Congratulations to every student who participated and thank you to the staff who supported the team throughout the day. KSC is very proud of the effort, determination and positive attitude shown by all students involved.
