Students in Like Minds Science have been investigating different types of forces this term, and one lesson recently proved to be particularly shocking! Using the Van de Graaff generator, Mrs Witton gave students a hair-raising demonstration of electrostatic forces in action. As students experienced their hair standing on end and sparks of static electricity, there was plenty of laughter, curiosity and excitement in the lab. It was a fun and engaging way to explore scientific concepts, and safe to say the atmosphere was absolutely electric!
