Choirs Shine in Assembly Performance Spectacular

What an AMAZING assembly performance from our choir superstars! Thank you to all the families who came along to support our students. We are incredibly proud of our Mellor students for their bravery and confidence performing in front of a large audience, and for our Torrens and Fisher students leading the way.

Students performed two songs: Shades from the 2026 Festival of Music program and the much-loved When I Grow Up from Tim Minchin's Matilda the Musical. The performance of When I Grow Up was particularly moving, with a few teachers even shedding a tear!

A special mention goes to our youngest soloists Nicholas (aged 6), Andre (aged 6) and Oliver (aged 5) for their wonderful solo performances in When I Grow Up. Congratulations also to Lydia, Zaydan, Louis, Rachela and Millie from the Torrens Choir, who also performed outstanding solos in this number.

The combined choirs created a truly memorable performance, showcasing not only their musical talents but also their teamwork and dedication. We would also like to acknowledge our Year 2 students for confidently sharing their percussion skills as part of the assembly. Well done to everyone involved in such a fantastic celebration of music!
