7 & 8 Readers Cup

On Tuesday evening, our Year 7 and 8 Readers Cup teams proudly represented the school in the 2026 competition, working collaboratively in self-coached teams to read widely and test their literary knowledge. Their motivation and teamwork were outstanding, with students taking full ownership of their preparation. A big thank you to Ms Stower for attending the evening and supporting our dedicated readers.

UQ Philosothon

Last weekend, 14 of our talented student philosophers competed in the UQ Philosothon, achieving an impressive 2nd place overall in the Year 7–9 Division. This is a phenomenal result, with this only being our second year in the competition. These students are confident in their curiosity and it is a pleasure to watch them delving into a new world of thought processes. A special congratulations to Adele D, who was named Best Speaker in her age category, with Amy V earning 2nd place. Thank you to Ms Harrison and Dr Lee for their guidance, preparation and support throughout the event.
