School Uniform Pricing Update

We are pleased to share an exciting update regarding our school uniform pricing. School uniforms play an important role in fostering a sense of belonging, pride and connection within our school community. They help create a positive and inclusive environment, promote equity among students and strengthen our shared identity as members of Donvale Primary School.

We also understand the importance of keeping school related costs as affordable as possible for families. With this in mind, we are delighted to announce that our school uniforms are now more affordable than ever before, with significant price reductions across many school specific items.

When School World took over the Ross Haywood Uniforms (RHU) business, they purchased the existing RHU uniform stock and maintained the same pricing structure to help recover their initial investment. As a result, the prices applied to Donvale Primary School uniforms have, until now, reflected the former RHU pricing.

Over time, annual price increases on school-specific uniform items led to a growing gap between the higher RHU prices and School World's standard pricing model used by other schools. As much of the original RHU stock has now been sold, School World has undertaken a review of pricing across former RHU schools to ensure a fairer and more consistent approach.

We are pleased to advise that pricing for Donvale Primary School uniform items has now been adjusted to better align with School World's standard pricing structure. This change has resulted in significant reductions across most school-specific items, with many prices decreasing by between 10% and 20%.

In addition, hats and beanies are now available at lower prices. The only school-specific item to experience a price increase is the school bag.

We welcome this review and are pleased that it will provide families with more affordable uniform options while continuing to maintain the quality and service provided by School World.
