Junior School Report

Junior School News

In Junior School, our term’s focus is the Reservoir High School value of Success.

Success isn’t just about grades. It’s about growth. Showing up. Giving something a go even when you’re nervous. This term, we are focusing on those small wins that help us get closer to being the kind of person we want to be.

We have started the term setting goals in Impact – be they academic, personal or social. Success looks different for everyone – In Junior School, our focus is on striving for personal growth in our own individual way.

At the beginning of Term 3, we have the absolute pleasure of celebrating the success of our Year 7 Scholarship recipients. These fantastic individuals have already achieved such great things and demonstrate what it looks like to consistently strive for success in their endeavours, through leadership, sport, academics and performing arts. We are so excited to see what they achieve next. Congratulations to William, Yianni, Timothy, Lincoln, Alexis, Jasmine, Poppy and Aaradhana.

We were also very proud to announce the first winners of the Foundation Award – those students across Junior School who have developed the strong foundation of embodying the school values of Diversity, Excellence, Respect and Success in every action they take at school. Congratulations to Reetal, Hamza, Emily Perri and Panos.

This term, we have opportunities for success happening in many facets of the school. We have sports opportunities (see Mr Rubira!), and our Badminton team is heading to regionals! The school production rehearsals are in full swing, and we will be learning about how to be upstanders and say no to racism in IMPACT.

Whatever your goals, the Junior School Team is here to support you – come and see us and we’d be happy to help. We are looking forward to celebrating your success with you this term.

Kind regards

Junior School Team
