Senior School Report

Senior School News

As we move into the opening stretch of Term 3, there is a strong sense of momentum across the Senior School as students continue to engage with learning, wellbeing, and future planning.

Our Year 12 IMPACT program has recently shifted its focus to VTAC and SEAS applications, helping students explore their post-school options and supporting them in putting their best foot forward. It’s been inspiring to see students reflect on their achievements and goals as they prepare for life beyond school.

Meanwhile, Year 11 students have been engaging in the Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program, with a current focus on self-help and building personal resilience. These sessions are equipping students with lifelong skills to navigate challenges and support themselves and others.

One of the highlights this term was the Year 12 Wellbeing Celebration Lunch, organised by our marvellous Wellbeing Team. Each student was recognised with a personalised note and gift bag, creating a heartfelt and inclusive atmosphere of celebration and appreciation. It was a fantastic way to acknowledge the effort and growth of every individual in the cohort.

Our VCE Sport and Recreation students also took part in a day-long First Aid course, facilitated by external providers. This experience not only enhances their practical skillset but also contributes to their confidence and employability in future pathways.

Looking ahead, we’re excited about our upcoming English/EAL and General Maths incursions, which will help prepare our students for the end-of-year exams. These sessions will give students targeted support and strategies to revise effectively and perform at their best.

As always, thank you to all staff, families and community members who continue to support our senior students during this crucial time of year.

Warm Regards,

Andrew Lewis on behalf of the Senior School Team
