Middle School Report

Middle School Team News

Our Middle School students are currently involved in course counselling, a process we see as critical to ensuring a smooth and successful transition to the Senior School.

Our dedicated counsellors have worked thoroughly and meticulously to see that each student has the guidance and support to make the most suitable decisions.

Our course counselling process wraps up next Thursday August 14th when we ask parents - guardians and students to make an appointment time with their child between 1.30 and 7.30 to finalize their subject choices.

Course Counselling August 14th 1.30 – 7.30pm in the library.

Please be aware all Middle School Students will be dismissed at the end of session 3 12.15 to allow them time to prepare for their appointment.

Our year 10s are currently involved in our Teen Mental Health First Aid course which is a valuable program that aims to upskill students in being able to best support their peers who are struggling with mental health issues.

Our parent - teacher interviews have just been conducted so we hope families found this a worthwhile experience that will help students maximize their learning and achieve their best possible results at the end of the year.

One final reminder - we ask that when students have PE practical classes they wear their full PE - Sport uniform. We don’t want to see hybrid mix and match combinations of school and PE uniform.

Finally, we give a big thank you to Priscilla for her work as our beloved Sub School Manager and a warm welcome to Beti who has taken over Priscilla's role. Beti has fitted in seamlessly, carrying on the calm and relaxed manner we like here in the Middle School.
