Campus Performing Arts
It’s shaping up to be an exciting year for Performing Arts on Campus! All of our students are involved in a dynamic program of Performing Arts classes, and there are also a range of wonderful Performing Arts experiences that students from all three schools will have the opportunity to be involved in. Additionally, we offer Instrumental lessons for all interested students across Campus, as outlined below. We look forward to seeing your children get involved!
Instrumental Music Lessons
If your child is interested in learning a new instrument on Campus this year, our Instrumental Program Booklet outlines our program including costs, online enrolment link for new students, etc. All students have been given the option to receive one in their Performing Arts lesson with their class during Weeks 1 and 2. If you haven’t received one, it can be accessed on the Compass Parent Portal under school documents.
Group recorder lessons are available from Year 1, with other instruments available from Year 3. In special circumstances, some of our Instrumental Teachers will take on younger students if they have room in their calendar – please feel free to use the enrolment link in this case and they will let you know if they can fit your child in.
Lessons for new Instrumental students will start once their Instrumental Teacher receives their enrolment form – they will contact you at this point to organise a suitable lesson time. Please be aware that this can take some time after you lodge your enrolment form. Occasionally we experience a large number of new enrolments for a particular instrument and do not have an available teacher; should this occur for your child, you will be contacted and placed on a waiting list, or alternative arrangements discussed.
Parents of continuing Instrumental students should have already be contacted by their Instrumental Teacher regarding lesson times. They do not need to sign up via the Instrumental Program Booklet link as they are already enrolled with their teacher).
Instrumental Donations
Do you have any instruments at home that are not getting the love they deserve? We would love to love them for you! At present we are particularly looking for portable keyboards, guitars, and percussion instruments. If you have something you think we might be able to use, please get in touch!

Pancake Day
Pilgrim School is celebrating Pancake Day for parents, children & staff in the courtyard area between the main Pilgrim building and the Oasis building.
- When: Tuesday 3rd March 2.30pm - 3.30pm
- Cost: $4 for 2 pancakes + toppings (gluten-free pancakes will be available)
- Please order and pay via the Qkr! app by Friday 27th February. There will be complimentary hot drinks for adults (you can donate toward the hot drink via Qkr! if you choose).
Why? To raise funds for Uniting Care agencies across Australia to assist our most vulnerable citizens and raise awareness of the issues of poverty and disadvantage in our community.
Please note that formal classes will conclude at 2.30pm. Staff will supervise students without an adult present until pick up time at 3.10pm. Families are encouraged to enjoy this time with their children and may collect them from class at 2.30pm, to accompany and supervise them as they enjoy this event. All pancake orders will be issued to students from 2.20pm, even if their parent is unable to attend.
As per our usual procedure, students that leave the school grounds before 3.10pm, will need to be signed out at the Front Office.
