Kinder News - Go-Yin Group

The Go-Yin group has been busy getting ready for school next year! We have been spending lots of time visiting different areas of the school, including the gym, library, playground and Foundation classroom. These visits are helping the children become familiar with the school environment, build their confidence and feel excited about the next step in their learning journey.
This week, we were very excited to visit Mr Brown and his STEM classroom for a special science lesson with the Grade 5/6 children. We learnt about how plants grow and watched a time-lapse of cress seeds growing, before each child paired up with a Grade 5/6 buddy to decorate their own pot and plant some cress seeds.
It was lovely to see the children working alongside their older buddies, and we are now looking forward to watching our cress seeds grow over the coming days.
A big thank you to Mr Brown and the wonderful Grade 5/6 children for welcoming us and making our visit such a fun experience!
