From the 6th -12th of September, we will recognise National Child Protection Week, an important opportunity to continue conversations about the safety, wellbeing and voice of every child.

This year’s theme, “Every conversation matters - shifting conversation to action,” reminds us that listening to children and taking their ideas, concerns and experiences seriously is an important part of creating safe and supportive communities.

At Sacred Heart, students will have opportunities to talk about what helps them to feel safe, supported and heard at school. Our SRC representatives will also lead conversations with their classes, giving students an opportunity to share their voice and contribute ideas about how we can continue to make Sacred Heart a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

For families: The eSafety Commissioner has a range of practical resources for parents and carers to support conversations about online safety, including advice about common online concerns and helping children navigate the digital world safely.
