There are 3 main ways to study Year 11 and 12 in Victoria:

Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE)
VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM)
Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC).

Vocational Education Training (VET) can be included in your VCE, VCE VM or VPC. VET is specific industry learning. The skills you learn in VET can be applied in the workplace or as you keep studying towards a trade or qualification. Depending on the VET course, you’ll either study at your school or at a nearby TAFE/training provider.

High School Medical Experience in Cambodia

Projects Abroad is running a new medical program in Cambodia. It will be a good mix of hospital time and community health, which will be a real immersive experience for the students who will get a lot of cultural insight too. Of particular interest is that this program will be running in the break at the end of term 3, starting on 22 September 2024, along with another date in December.

Studying Business or Commerce at RMIT

RMIT offers the 3-year Bachelor of Business – a flexible degree allowing students to study what they would like. Students get to personalise their course structure, allowing them to tailor their learning with a choice of 14 majors and 32 minors.

The VCE entry requirements are a study score of at least 25 in English other than EAL; or a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL).

Students might be keen on the 4-year Bachelor of Business Professional Practice which offers the same 14 majors and 32 minors, with the added benefit of a dedicated minor (in Study and Work) and professional experiences with industry partners, research centres, start-up support networks and/or the not-for-profit sector, depending on their choices.

Commencing in 2024, RMIT is introducing the 3-year Bachelor of Commerce. Unlike the flexible Bachelor of Business, this degree is for students who are confident they know what area of study the definitely want to focus on. Students will explore the complexities of laws, policy development, market dynamics and technological innovation that shape today's commerce. Two Work Integrated Learning units are also required to be completed in this course.

The course will offer only 6 majors:

Cyber Security Law and Governance
Enterprise AI and Business Analytics
International Business
Marketing Technology
Quantitative Economics and Finance
Leadership and Strategy

Set up by industry and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) the Co-op Program provides career development scholarships for high achieving undergraduate students, offering industry training, leadership, and professional development, networking opportunities, mentoring and financial support.
