What's On In 5/6

Travel expo
This week, the Year 5/6 students proudly presented our Travel Expo to the whole school, as well as to our parents and friends. We had worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks to complete our stands, posters, and visual presentations, and we were excited to see our imagination and effort come to life.
In groups, we selected a country to research and present. We spent a lot of time making sure our work was detailed and up to date. Some of the ways we showcased our countries included dioramas, posters, slideshows, flags, and other creative forms of presentation.
A big thank-you to the Year 5/6 teachers for supporting us and helping bring the whole expo together.

Carols
Through the past few weeks we’ve had amazing opportunities and things happen but one of our favourites was the CAROLS! On the 4th of December all classes as well as some small performance groups had already prepared and practiced a dance and song!
Luckily for us we had some amazing help to make it happen. Thank you to Ms. Ranson and Mr. Den Elzen. Also thanks to Ava, Maddie, Eleanor and Tianna the MCs for hosting. Everyone did amazing. Congratulations to all performers for having the guts to show your talent.

Graduation
On the 11th of December, the year 6’s celebrated their graduation. We all had so much fun! We had 2 hours, 1 hour for the actual ceremony and presentations and the 2nd hour for signing bears and mingling with others. Federal member for Deakin, Matt Greg and Victorian Legislative Council Member, Nick McGowan both presented one award to a year 6 student each.
We had a blast performing our dance, watching the music video we had created, giving letters of gratitude to our parents and most of all collecting and receiving our certificates of graduation. Thank you to all of the people who worked hard setting up and planning our graduation. We appreciate all you've done. Thank you!
