Year 10 Environmental Science/Biology Wildlife Incursion
Our Year 10 Environmental Science/Biology classes had an incursion run by Aussie Wildlife displays. They got to meet a range of Australian animals and learn about how they are adapted to survive in their habitats. These animals included a Black-headed python, Shingleback lizard, Red tailed black cockatoo Squirrel glider, Common wombat and Saltwater crocodile. The incursion was very engaging and informative. Some of our students were even brave enough to hold one of the animals!
International Student Farewell Morning Tea
On Tuesday 14 October we held the International Student Year 12 farewell morning tea. The students were excited to celebrate their journey with our school, especially as they are doing it in English and not their home country language.
Thank you to Ms Sacha Fisher, their EAL teacher who did a very special powerpoint presentation about each student and their many attributes we have observed while at our school.
Thank you to Mr Andrew Batchelor, Mr Cam Heyes, Ms Tiffany Greenhill and Ms Brittany Harvey for supporting this event as well.
Mrs Kelly Lin and Mrs Sharon Koning
