YEAR 11 STUDENTS EXPLORE DIFFERENT CAREER PATHWAYS WITH SEVEN (7) ALUMNI SESSIONS

On Monday 27 October the Year 11 students stepped into the world of possibilities through a unique career exploration experience. With seven (7) engaging Alumni sessions to choose from, each student selected a session that aligned with their interests and future aspirations. 

We were thrilled to welcome back 13 inspiring alumni, who generously shared their journeys and insights into their respective fields. From the realities of day-to-day roles to the skills and mindset needed to succeed, students gained valuable perspectives to help guide their career decisions.

Here are some insights and reflections from the sessions;

ABOUT THE ALUMNI PROGRAM

Frankston High School is continuing to grow its alumni program in partnership with Ourschool, a not-for-profit alumni program for state secondary schools and the first of its kind in Australia. 

By connecting with the alumni program, past students can provide career guidance and work experience opportunities for current students, establish scholarships and bequests, or volunteer in lots of other ways. 

Ourschool is working with Frankston High to help these things happen by growing the school’s alumni community and co-ordinating the involvement of alumni in the school.
