PREP

This term, our students are diving into a variety of fun texts all about weather. They'll be working on understanding the texts by predicting, summarising, retelling, and expanding their vocabulary. Through hands-on investigations, they'll continue to learn and grow. 

In Maths, our little learners will be putting their hard work into action by practicing their problem-solving skills. We're super excited to tackle some interesting math problems together!

Our Preps have also celebrated the 100 Days of Prep! Well done to all of our Preps on being 100 days smarter. We are all very proud of their achievements and can’t wait to see what they learn in the second half of the year!

We have experienced an amazing incursion already this term - the Discovery Dome! This exciting experience took us on a journey through the planets using a portable planetarium. What a fantastic adventure! 🚀🌟

Preps have been learning about weather and how rain is formed. We did an experiment today with water, shaving foam and blue food colouring and watch the rain fall from the clouds!

INCURSIONS

YEAR 1 - 2 

Our students will be diving into the exciting world of Physical Sciences! They'll get to learn all about how objects move and change, and how factors like size and shape play a role. Plus, they'll have some awesome texts to read to enhance their understanding. 

In maths, our learners will be sharpening their skills with numbers and problem-solving, while also delving into shapes and measurement, including mathematical terms such as ‘opposite’, ‘parallel’, ‘curved’ and ‘straight’ 

Year 1 and 2 students will even have the chance to go on a super cool excursion to Legoland! We're so pumped to take our newfound knowledge of physical science and put it to use in such a fun way! Let's get ready for some hands-on learning and a whole lot of fun! 🚀🔬🎢
