Polly Farmer Follow the Dream

Dalki! (“Hi” in Wergaia language)

I’m Kylie Clarke; a proud Gunditjmara, Wotjobaluk, Ngarrindjeri and Muandik woman born and raised in Corio on Wadawurrung Country.  I graduated year 12 at Corio Community College (now the Goldsworthy Rd Campus) and backing our young peoples’ dreams has been a passion since.

I’ve returned to Northern Bay College as the Program Coordinator for Polly Farmer Follow the Dream, to walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and to provide connections, experiences and opportunities so that they can follow their dreams.  We’re also the first program in Victoria – how deadly!

We’ve recently been to Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar (Perth) for the Follow The Dream Careers Morning where students Loz and Letoyah pictured below visited the Polly Farmer Foundation Head Office, walked on Country, met other students from the W.A & N.T Follow the Dream Programs and explored future possibilities at our Career Expo.

Will look forward to connecting families.  Feel free to reach out and say “hi”.

I hang out at the Goldsworthy Campus (Year 9 & 10 building, Room GN4) – Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, working with students in years, 9-12 and will be connecting with year 7 & 8 students at the Koorie Aspirations Day to yarn about 2025.
