Snapshots from Springvale Campus
It has been another busy and productive fortnight on Springvale Campus!
Our Year 3 and 5 students have now completed their NAPLAN assessments, marking an important milestone for the term. We are incredibly proud of the calm, focused and mature way they approached each test. Throughout the week, students demonstrated great resilience, perseverance and a positive attitude, giving their best effort in each session.
NAPLAN provides a snapshot of student learning in literacy and numeracy and is just one of many ways we assess and support student progress at our school. Families will receive their child’s individual results later in the year, which will provide further insight into their learning and areas of growth.
A big thank-you goes to our staff for their careful organisation and support throughout the testing period, as well as our families for helping ensure students were well-rested, prepared and ready to do their best each day.
On Wednesday, Amy Tran from 5/6F proudly represented our school at the Division Swimming Championships in Noble Park. Competing against swimmers from a range of schools, Amy demonstrated outstanding skill, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. She achieved exceptional results, placing 1st in both the 50m breaststroke and 50m freestyle events, which is an incredible accomplishment at this level of competition. A big congratulations from our whole school community to Amy! We are incredibly proud of her achievement and look forward to following her continued success in swimming.
