Arts Day

Well done to all our students who participated in Arts Day 2024, ‘A Time to Shine’.

A shout out to Ashburn who won the House Dance, performing ‘Dance the Night’ by Dua Lipa. The judge, Jaya Fisher Smith, loved the energy and enthusiasm of the dance, as well as the surprise of Mrs Gordon with her dog, ‘Pumpkin.'

Brett Holland performed an operatic piece, ‘Trade Winds’ and judged our choral competition. Congratulations to Radcliffe, who won this section, performing ‘Walking on Sunshine’, by Katrina and The Waves. He mentioned the commitment, focus and vocal tone of this group and appreciated the dedication of all House groups to perform with excellence.

Students participated in a range of workshops throughout the day. The Visual Art workshops were extremely popular.  Students engaged in a Yayoi Kasama inspired sculpture installation with artist Wendy Winsley. Another group of students discovered the art of drawing realistic portraits in 2D with artist David Wells.
