Welcome to Week 7! There are only two weeks to go until all boarders are home.

Clayfield on Tour

I am looking forward to travelling next week to Townsville with Deputy Principal, Mrs Audrey Fellowes, for the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) State Conference and having the opportunity to catch up with boarding families and Old Collegians while we are in the area.

Boarders’ Item

Most students have received their 2024 boarders’ item which is a work shirt. We are ordering a second batch of shirts at the end of this term which will be ready for collection by students at the beginning of Term 3.

Boarding Captains Mistique and Lindsay had great delight in presenting Dr Cousins with his shirt on Monday in appreciation for his endless support of boarding.

End of Term

If you haven’t already done so, please advise of your child’s end of term departure details and travel itineraries for the beginning of Term 3 as soon as possible so we can schedule transport assistance where possible.  The school term finishes on Thursday 13 June at 3:10pm and boarder return day is Monday 8 July.

Please note for end of term travel for Term 3, the QGSSSA Athletics Championship is being held on Thursday 12 September with all boarders expected to attend on the day.  Boarder travel day is Friday 13 September.
