Global Learning – Student Ambassadors

In term 1 our four Student Ambassadors attended an opening forum in the city for the Global Learning project; Aoife, Ashton, Kevin and Jessie. 

The workshop focused on "what good international student connectedness and inclusion" means. They discussed why intercultural capability and global mindsets are important. Teaming up with Thomas Carr College, our team worked on a project with the aim of making our new international students feel more welcome at Brighton SC.

As our team of four were attending school camp in the last week of term, they were unable to present their completed project in person. They did however successfully make a short film which highlighted what they had done, particularly running a lunch club for our new students.

This film was presented to all other participating school on Thursday 17 September closing forum.

A big congratulations to these four students for their commitment to achieve positive outcomes for their peers.
