Introducing SRC

My name is Milja Lin and along with Gaby Duieb we are pleased to introduce ourselves as the Presidents of the Student Representative Council for 2025. We are joined by a fantastic group of students, all of whom are excited to be part of a group working to improve GEC this year. Our job is to advocate for student voices and work to make positive changes within our school community. If you have any questions or ideas please feel free to come talk to us at any time. Led by Mr Chiumello, we’ve already started working on some exciting new projects and can’t wait to see what will come next!

Cultural Diversity Week

During cultural diversity day the school organised a cultural dress day where students could come to school in their cultural clothing and to share and represent their culture. On this day we had multiple kids who got interviewed to share more about their culture and much more. Many teachers also participated in this day by wearing their traditional clothing and flag colour.

Pink Dress Day

In celebration of Mother’s Day, GEC held a Pink Dress Day as our casual dress day for Term 2. It was wonderful to see so many students participating by wearing a splash of pink in their outfits. We are pleased to announce we raised $541.30, proudly supporting our GEC team in the lead up to the Mother’s Day Classic.
