 Tertiary & Careers Expo

On Tuesday 21 July, our school library was transformed into a bustling hub of opportunity for our annual Tertiary & Careers Expo. All Year 11 and 12 students attended, actively engaging with 24 diverse exhibitors. Representatives from all major Victorian universities and a range of TAFEs, apprenticeship organisations, private colleges and employers supported students to explore an extensive range of post-school pathways and opportunities.

Our Tertiary and Careers Expo forms a valuable step in our broader school pathway planning framework. Occurring exactly one week prior to our school Futures Expo (our school subjects showcase), this event helps students explore and identify long-term goals. Armed with this industry knowledge, students are far better equipped to make informed choices during their course counselling, subject selection, and Year 12 tertiary application processes.

The Careers Team was thrilled with how our senior students made the most of this opportunity. As you can see in the photo gallery below, they leaned into curiosity, made the most of their time, explored a range of stalls, asked thoughtful questions and gathered useful resources. We hope this experience has fuelled some meaningful conversations at home and you enjoy looking through the photos from the day.
