Exciting News: Welcoming Hirakata High School: Host Families Needed for 2026 Exchange Program

Taylors Lakes Secondary College is delighted to announce a new sister school partnership with Hirakata High School, located in Osaka, Japan. Hirakata High School is a vibrant school known for its global outlook, innovative teaching, and warm, community-minded students. We are very excited to begin building meaningful connections between our two schools.

Over the past twenty years, our College has proudly hosted numerous Japanese homestay groups and study tours to Japan. 

These visits have been an enriching highlight of our Languages program, helping students at TLSC develop cultural understanding, global awareness, and lifelong friendships. Many of our past host families still keep in touch with their visiting students years later!

As part of this new partnership, we are seeking 15 families who are willing to host a Japanese student for approximately 7 nights in late July (Term 3).

More information will be provided at the beginning of Term 1, 2026.
