Performing Arts Outreach Tour a Huge Success
Over the past two months, our Junior Stage Band and Dance Ensemble proudly represented Taylors Lakes Secondary College as they visited five neighbouring primary schools for a series of energetic lunchtime performances.
This initiative was designed to promote our growing Performing Arts program and strengthen connections with our feeder schools.
Our students performed with confidence, enthusiasm, and professionalism, sharing their passion for music and dance with hundreds of younger students.
The response from the primary schools was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the opportunity and even enquiring whether this could become a regular event.
Opportunities like this are invaluable for our students, providing authentic performance experience, building confidence, and fostering leadership as they serve as role models for future Taylors Lakes SC students.
We extend our congratulations to all students involved for their outstanding effort, discipline, and positive attitude.
They represented our school with pride, and we are incredibly proud of the way they showcased the vibrant and growing culture of our Performing Arts program.
TLSC Students Bring Festive Spirit to the Community
Our String, Voice and Dance Ensembles helped bring the festive season to life in recent weeks, delivering a series of uplifting Christmas performances across local shopping centres, Keilor Central and Watergardens and Taylors Lakes Primary School Christmas Fete.
Their music and dance created a warm and joyful atmosphere for shoppers, showcasing the talent and community spirit of our students.
Congratulations to all performers for their outstanding effort and for helping bring our community together during this special time of year.
