Our F–4 students have been busy creating Christmas cards for residents who would appreciate some extra Christmas cheer. In partnership with the Vinnies Christmas Appeal and St Mary’s Parish Echuca, students have contributed a handmade Christmas card to accompany the Christmas gifts being delivered to residents at the Rochester Aged Care Home.

This coming Sunday is the beginning of Advent. Advent is the season in the Christian calendar leading up to Christmas. It is a time of preparation, reflection, and anticipation for the birth of Jesus. Advent lasts for four weeks, with each week having a specific theme and focus.
Week 1 - The first week focuses on hope. It reminds us of the promises God made about sending a Savior and the hope that Jesus brings to the world.
Week 2 - This week focuses on peace, remembering the peace that Jesus brings to the world and the peace promised in His kingdom.
Week 3 - This week celebrates joy, focusing on the shepherds who rejoiced at the good news of Jesus' birth.
Week 4 - The final week centers on love, celebrating God’s love in sending Jesus to the world.
