RSC Athletics Day - Parents Club

Rochester Secondary College will be holding their annual House Athletics sports day on Tuesday 19th August at the Windridge oval, Rochester.

Our Parents Club will be in attendance, come along and have a chat to them about how Parents Club runs, they would love to have more members join. 

There will be a 'Guess the amount of lollies in the jar' - competition. We would like to thank the owners of Iddles Lane Emporium - Alana & Peter for their kind donation.

A further reminder that they are also desperately looking for volunteers to help out at this years Elmore Field Days, please see this newsletter for further information or contact the office on 5484 1844.

Late Arrival / Early Departure

If you know your student/s will be arriving late or leaving early, can you please add this to Compass or send in a signed dated note before the beginning of the day, otherwise please phone the office on 5484 1844.

Every student was allocated a PTV photo card, this card also allows your student/s to sign in and sign out with one tap, making this process so much quicker.  

Please make sure they have it with them at all times. A reminder please do not phone the office after 3 pm as sometimes it is difficult to get a message to your child.

Bus Passes

If your student/s require a bus pass ensure a note by the parent/carer is dropped at the office at the commencement of the day. This note must be signed, dated and an explanation as to where your student is going. Please do not come to the office at the end of the day to request a pass as it will not be granted.As most of our busses are full, some passes may not be available. 

A reminder if your student/s will be traveling on their normal bus BUT getting off at a different stop, they still are required to receive a bus pass.

Students are NOT permitted to travel on any of our buses without a pass.

Lost Property

Is your student missing a school jumper or any type of drink bottle? There are a lot of these items in the office and they are all unnamed.  Please ask you student/s to check.

Could parents kindly make sure their school jumpers and jackets are clearly labelled with their name, this will help with returning the items to the correct owners.
