Puberty Information Night

Information about our parent/child Puberty information night (via Zoom) next Thursday 26th has been shared, and there is a form to fill out on nForma to let us know if you and your child will be attending. Thank you!

Visit to UYSC

There is also another form to fill out about our upcoming transition session to Upper Yarra Secondary College next Thursday. This is an opportunity for our whole class to experience a morning at a high school, regardless of whether they will attend this secondary school or another. Morning tea will be provided and we will return to St. Joe's around midday.

Game on!

The Year 5/6 students have really been enjoying extending their maths knowledge through engaging warm-up games at the beginning of each math lesson. These activities have been a fun and effective way to build confidence, reinforce key skills and get everyone ready for learning!

THE ART OF PERSUASION! 

In literacy, we have been looking into informative and persuasive texts.  In connection with our Inquiry topic, we researched ways to boost your mood and the media messages that shape it.  The class created some posters and is learning about how to 'catch someone's eye' with word art for advertising.  Have a look at some of our creations below...
