Respectful Relationships
In Respectful Relationships, we have been learning to recognise and name different emotions. This week, we talked about the different positive and negative emotions we feel at school, in class and at playtime, and the kinds of experiences that lead to these emotions. We came up with some ideas for ways we can contribute to people's positive emotions. If you wish, you can follow this up at home by talking with a family member about the experiences that led them to feel different positive and negative emotions.
Fluency Reading
Each week we try to improve our reading fluency. We read the same part of our novel to our parnter, and then we listen as they read it back. We help each other when we are unsure of a word, and we remind each other to stop at full stops and pause at commas. This week, we read part of the text onto Seesaw. If you haven't checked it out yet, have a look - or a listen! If you don't yet have access to your child's Seesaw account, check your emails - we have resent invitations today.
