70th Year Celebration

70th Year Celebration on Sunday November 16th.

1pm - 6 pm

🌿 Calling All Green Thumbs! - Let's Grow Our Plant Stall🌿

If you enjoy growing seedlings or have a garden full of herbs, succulents, or other plant treasures, now’s the perfect time to get involved. The weather is ideal for starting off seedlings, and with just four weeks to go, any new plants started now should be looking fabulous and ready to sell.

Perhaps you have some mint, parsley, or other herbs that have taken over your garden? These can easily be divided and popped into small pots. Succulents and hardy plants also work well—especially if planted in quirky containers like teacups, mugs, jars, or little vases. At our last event, these were some of the most popular items!

Today at school the children enjoyed a lunchtime of seed planting under the Friendship Tree, followed by a well-earned Zooper Dooper for their hard work. It was lovely to see their enthusiasm and look forward to seeing their plants at the stall too.

To help keep things thriving, we are asking that any plant donations stay at home until after 10 November—as we can’t promise to keep them alive at school before then!

Any help—big or small—will be hugely appreciated. Whether it’s growing a few seedlings, donating other plants or helping to set up the stall on the day, your contribution will help make this a standout celebration.

Thank you in advance for your support.
