IDAHOBIT DAY

On 19 May, Fitzroy High School celebrated IDAHOBIT Day, a day that stands against homophobia, biphobia, intersexism and transphobia, and promotes inclusion for all.

Students showed their support by wearing brightly coloured outfits and taking part in a range of activities throughout the day. At recess, the school played LGBTQIA+ music and students enjoyed making rainbow bracelets in the Art Room.

During Advisory, students learned about the history and significance of IDAHOBIT Day and discussed the importance of creating a school community where everyone feels safe, respected and valued.

The day was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate diversity and reinforce Fitzroy High School's commitment to being a welcoming and inclusive school for all.
