Popping in to Prep
In Week 6 prep students had a visit from our local firefighters. We learnt about good and bad fires, what firefighters do, who to call for emergencies and where we can find a safe meeting place at our own homes.
We have also been learning about digraphs, two letters that make one sound! This week we learnt the /th/ sound and noticed so many words that have it.
In Maths we have been learning about mass and how some things are heavy and others are light.
